Spring is one of the most beautiful times to visit Lourdes. The Sanctuary gardens are in bloom, the Pyrenees peaks glitter with late snow on the horizon, and crowds are present but manageable. April and May mark the beginning of the main pilgrimage season, with many national pilgrimages arriving in late April and early May. The Baths are open, all ceremonies are running, and the atmosphere is one of fresh beginning, very fitting for a spiritual journey.
